A very nice condition, field used bread bag in grey heavy canvas fabric. All fittings (bar the centre bag securing button) are present and are in good serviceable condition. Bag is with some fading and staining to the reverse side (see images). Centre belt strap is with a good maker mark and less clear issue date. A nice item forming part of German field equipment.

A nice piece of WW1 period shop counter advertising, in the form of an ash tray and .303 14 dated engraved bullet. The ash tray is pressed tin, japanned lacquered, with pressed and printed detail advertising ‘Tyler’s Boots’ (see images). Slogan on the tray and cartridge case reads ‘Tyler’s boots are the best’.
