    A superb hallmarked silver Royal Tank Regiment Officer beret badge. Badge is in superb age toned condition, with no polishing damage. Reverse with two loop substantial fitting loops, and clear maker and hall marking. If I have read the hallmark correctly it’s dated 1943. A superb condition badge.

  • THIRD REICH GERMAN RAD COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE ‘SHOVEL’

    A super, made from ply wood, commemorative shovel, showing service with the Reich Arbeits Deinst (RAD). Shovel shows painted district details and service duration along the shaft. Wall hanger is made from paper clips, excellent overall condition, with some slight paint scuffing. A period piece with some naive crudity yet ‘pleasing’ to the eye. Appox 44cms in length.

    A superb example (condition) of the 1940 edition of Mein Kampf in bound form with ‘district’ crest to the front cover, as given as a wedding gift to ‘newly weds’ of the district. Condition is superb, with only slight scuffing to the leather spine on a few high points. Interior is with matching district stamping, with the couples details and signed by the local ‘mayor’ in ink.     A superb pre-WW2 hallmarked silver art-deco ladies cigarette case, presented to a lady officer by the students of her first anti-gas class. Damage and dent free with slight tarnishing. Good clear presentation engraving. Above the hallmark seems to be a pawn shop marking. A very attractive item. (77 grams of silver with a scrap value of approx £35 at the time of listings).

    A very good clean moth free condition formation sign for the 52nd Division. Formed in 1915. Possibly un-used. Some ink staining to the reverse backing material (see images). As with all WW1 uniform insignia, becoming harder to find.

    A very good, ‘well carried’ pass to a civilian woman from Saarbrucken. Original ID photo with carrier details to include her war service occupation being a ‘Uniform-fabrik-worker’ (uniform maker). Issued and over issued 1942. By 1942 German woman were belatedly being drafted into the war effort, serving in all aspects of home front life/service.

    A rare 23rd Service Battalion felt well formation sign as worn on the rear of the tunic just below the collar. Steel blue cloth in the form of a grenade in excellent condition, possibly un-used. Traces of old paper and glue to the signs reverse where removed from an album ? The 23rd Service Battalion were stationed at Grey Towers, Hornchurch.

    A very nice clear dated 1908 pattern webbing water bottle cradle. Blancoed possibly only the once, with most now worn off, showing as a faint ‘green’ hue and a tad grubby. Late/post war top fastening Interior is with very good, very clear make details and date 1918. Rear facing centre strap with a number marking (see images). A nice untouched item, being an item now hard to find
