A very nice item, and rare to survive 100 years 'Grand Military Gymkhana', Normanton Recreation Ground, July 1917 admission ticket. An event, locally organised, in aid of British held prisoners of war, to raise funds to send comforts. Some slight creasing, and age staining to obverse and reverse. The reverse advertising a military & scout outfitters (see images). A nice item !
A 1944 produced Stalag XVIIB sports day, single page programme of events. This is a French produced item (under the auspices of their German captors) detailing a small number of athletics disciplines, with the winning nation pencilled along side the event. A multi-national event with winners from France, Russia, Poland,Italy and Yugoslavia. Has been folded in 'four', and is now with a little fragility, and as such

A small archive of 7 POW parcel receipt post cards to the Kossuth family of Wembley Park from Lt Stanislaw (Gerry) Tolloczco, who was a POW held at 'Oflag IIB Oder IIC'. One POW letter from the Kossuth family only addressed, no text and never posted to Lt. Tolloczco. All items dated 1941-42 are in good clean undamaged condition.
