A fine example of a WW1 vintage water bottle, mounted in a leather, shoulder holster/cradle.
Bottle is in excellent damage free condition, covered with the buff coloured heavy felt, typical of this periods bottle covering.
Stopper is complete and in damage free condition attached to the felt covering by a longish piece of cord, again a typical feature of this vintage of bottle.
Couple of small areas of (none active) moth to the felt covering (see images).
Leather cradle and shoulder strap with canvas (wide) shoulder support is in matching damage free condition.
No maker or date details to cradle.
