A good WW1 other ranks uniform grouping to a trooper serving with the RGA, consisting 1902 pattern tunic, mounted breeches, artillery bandolier and shortened (third full length Fox) leg puttees.
Tunic is in excellent damage free condition worth only a couple of areas of storage moth.
Tunic has brass RGA shoulder titles. To both sleeves bombardier chevrons, gun layer sleeve qualification badge above above the right rank chevron. Three blue overseas service chevrons to lower right sleeve and RA tunic buttons.
Interior is with correct period white heavy canvas cotton lining, the remains of is paper issue label and clear WD broad arrow issue stamping. The shell dressing pouch is open and has been used.
Breeches are of the ‘private purchase’ type and have sadly suffered more moth storage damage which I have attempted to show fully in the images.
The artillery bandolier is in matching excellent condition to the tunic, is supple with all correct fittings present. Its issue marked and dated 1916.
Puttees are shortened ‘Fox’ manufactured.
A super untouched, uninterested with representation of a period artillery man that could be built upon, to make more complete.
Tunics becoming hard now to find in this condition.
I’m happy to supply more reasonable information to anyone seriously interested in purchase.
Post may need adjusting due to parcel size and destination.
