A rare example of a red detail on khaki wool backing 3rd London cloth shoulder title. Title is well used and grubby, but is damage and moth free. The 3rd London were involved in the Great War from the outset.
A very good clean moth free condition formation sign for the 52nd Division. Formed in 1915. Possibly un-used. Some ink staining to the reverse backing material (see images). As with all WW1 uniform insignia, becoming harder to find.
WW1 British V CUMB. (Volunteer Cumbria) slip on shoulder title. Excellent condition white bevo woven detail on heavy denim cotton backed title. No reverse fitting straps. Intended for stitching straight to the tunic shoulder strap. Moth and damage free. Worn by local V.T.C. units and 'young' troops under training serving with this V.T.C.. A Rare title. (V.T.C., Volunteer Training Corps, the for-runner of the WW2 Home Guard).
An excellent un-touched other ranks Liverpool Scottish multi piece construction bonnet / Pouch badge. White metal now grubby in un-touched / polished condition. Reverse with two screw fitting posts. No maker details.
