A very nice example of a lightly worn/used Brodie combat helmet, that has had period applied ‘crude’ camouflage over a ‘lighter khaki green’ finish.
The ‘brown’ camouflage is in the form of faint ‘half circles to the outer rim area (see images).
Shell is dent and damage free with 75% plus of its original textured finish to the exterior and 90% plus complete to the interior.
Underside of the shell is with a good clear manufacturer code, ‘S 109’.
Liner is complete and in matching condition, being damage free.
Original chin strap is in good serviceable, supple condition, but should be treated with care due to age etc.
Underside of the oil skin head band is with a good clear red ink ‘Brodie marking’ (see images).
A superb condition helmet, being something of a minor rarity with the period camouflage application.
