A narrow party style band as worn on the lower left cuff.
All are late war issue on low quality cotton with low quality printed detail. Most are plain with just the central swastika emblem.
Rarer examples exist with printed detail to either side of the central motif. This example has printed NSDAP. Partei-Bereitschaft (Party Detachment).
Excellent damage free condition with minor staining. Now becoming a rare armband to find especially with the printed detail.
With the onset of war and continued bombing of German cities, party (office) officials were given extra war service duties, most of which were related to ‘Air Defence’ and all matters related to air defence. This was carried out in conjunction with Luftschutz personnel. To denote these extra duties this and other types of bands were worn on party uniforms.
