A mint condition (un-used) propaganda stamp 'used' in the promotion and 'push' for the return of the Saar-land to German, Third Reich rule after its confiscation under the Treaty of Versailles and League of Nations Mandate from 1920 onward. von Langen was a Third Reich period actress, allowed to work post war. She appeared in the 1938 production ‘Faded Memory’, her field of work being mainly romantic drama. 10 Third Reich vintage, Hitler head postage stamps. 9 are unused. All are in excellent damage free condition. Interestingly, Hitler amassed a personal fortune from the sale postage stamps alone. He received a royalty for each sale, for the use of his own image upon them.
An extremely rare printed tissue 'napkin' commemorating the R 101 disaster and the casualties of the crash. The overall condition of the napkin is exceptional given its age, with age foxing only and one small are of splitting.
