4 large 1 small brass service dress buttons, Australian made for RAF personnel stationed in Australia requiring tailoring.
Standard RAF gilt buttons with round fitting loops.
Maker details ‘Stokes & Sons Melbourne’.
An excellent pair of (early) gilt dental branch of the RAF uniform collar badges.
Excellent damage free condition with all finish in tact. Two loop reverse fitting. No maker details.
Again a rare (none flight related) piece of insignia.
First introduced for wear and as a branch of service in 1942.
The iconic small ‘pea whistle’ as carried by air crew (usually worn on the battle dress collar loop) for use as an identification/directional aid when downed on land or in water.
Excellent condition, with 95% nickel finish remaining, complete with all correct markings (see images).
An impressive kings crown RAF officer cap badge, in bullion wire and coloured thread detail.
Tarnishing to bullion wire with some mothing to the black backing edging.
The crown is slightly larger than the ‘norm’ making for a particularly impressive looking badge.
Some double sided tape to reverse where removed from a frame, should clean off.
