An outstanding example of of the 1914 gift fund writing wallet, complete with much of its original content.
Canvas covered wallet with the front flap containing the press stud popper and gift fund detail in red detail.
The wallet has been well stored, and is very clean, with the popper and keeper in good firm condition, with slight rust discolouration around the outer stud. A clip fitting is to the lower left front cover flap.
Complete with the wallet divider, and the original writing paper pad and a quantity of original envelopes.
Also contained is the 1914 greeting card, Princess Mary photo portrait and envelope they are contained in.
A couple of envelopes are used and the pencil is absent.
(The pencil that would have been contained is the same as the pencil issued in the bullet pencil, so could be added to the wallet to make it further complete).
A extremely rare item in the gift fund range, especially in this fine condition, and with content.
(This is the only wallet I have owned in 40 years to have any content).
