A grubby untouched example of the iconic 1914 gift tin, polished with most gilt finish lost.
Tin is comparatively dent and damage free. Its been stored for many years with this being its first time on the market.
Tin edges and especially the corners are firm and split free.
(Interestingly this tin is of a maker variation with the wording ‘Christmas 1914’ in the lid bottom wreath being slightly smaller than is more common).
