A good, grubby untouched example of the iconic 1914 gift tin.
Tin is dent and damage free, with some wear to the gilt finish, with the lid being generally grubby and untouched, due to storage. Some gilt staining (see images).
Tin edges and especially the corners are firm and split free. Free moving hinge.
My own opinion (for what its worth) is that this is one of the most iconic collectables related to WW1, now just being over 105 years old and still comparatively in-expensive !
