1937 pattern webbing, belt / shoulder strap brace attachments. Excellent pair of brace attachments being ‘AM’ (Air Ministry) marked with broad arrow, 1941 date and maker details ‘M. E. Co. Ltd.’

A very early RAF pre WW2 (much like an RFC observer half wing) air crew Observer’s half brevet as worn on the service and battledress.
’Partial padded’ half wing, in moth free condition on very dark blue backing cloth. Black paper backing.
Superb, used, removed from a tunic half brevet.
A good two page (double sided) rescue report detailing the circumstances of the ditching of a C-47 cargo transport on 3rd December 1943.
Excellent detail covering the flight and the ’touch down’, and the crew debrief, detailing their procedure once the craft was on the waters surface.
