A rare 23rd Service Battalion felt well formation sign as worn on the rear of the tunic just below the collar.
Steel blue cloth in the form of a grenade in excellent condition, possibly un-used.
Traces of old paper and glue to the signs reverse where removed from an album ?
The 23rd Service Battalion were stationed at Grey Towers, Hornchurch.
WW1 British Border Regt. slip on shoulder title. Good condition white on khaki heavy wool backing title. Reverse fitting strap present. Slight surface moth, but otherwise damage free.
A group of well worn, four blue chevrons, on khaki wool backing. Used condition chevrons, now faded and with some staining (see images). Moth free, but with wear to khaki wool edges (A perfect item, for a used tunic that has had the chevrons removed / lost).
An excellent un-touched condition Royal Engineers King George V other ranks cap badge. Un-polished grubby condition. Single blade slider to reverse.
A group of three blue chevrons, on khaki wool backing. Excellent, possibly un-worn chevrons, in bright clean moth free condition. Indicates any three years overseas service with the exception of 1914.
