    A superb, rare ATA side cap badge in bi-coloured bullion wire. Padded cap badge in gold and silver (the two ‘A’s are in silver) bullion wire on its black wool backing.   • WW2 RAF / AM THEATRE MADE AIR GUNNER HALF BREVET

    A very typically, crudely made Air Gunner half brevet of the type manufactured in bazaars in the middle east. The detail is clear, and obviously hand made rather than machine embroidered. Some snagging to the wing detail were damaged by a safety harness.

    A used miniature 'low level' parachute as used by the RAF to drop messages and small equipment bundles. Excellent damage free condition, with some straining to the 'chute' body.     Formed in 1922 by Leslie Irvin, the 'Caterpillar Club' is an informal group of club members who have bailed out of a stricken aircraft and used a parachute to save their life.   • WW2 BRITISH RAF / AM CLOTH AUXILIARY SERVICE ‘A’s

    A good matched pair of RAF Auxiliary service personnel uniform ’A’s. Worn in this format on the upper sleeve. Excellent moth and damage free condition, pale blue detail in heavy black wool backing. The A.A.F. was formed in the early 1920’s and was used to supplement (make up numbers) regular service personnel. It was disbanded in 1945.

    An excellent condition 1947 issued civil pilots licence. The holder is valid to fly civil flying machines land types. The holders photograph may have been taken while wearing an RAF battle dress.
