  • WW2 BRITISH RAF ‘EARLY WW2’ PILOT BREVET PARTIAL PADDED

    A very nice pre/early WW2 RAF pilot brevet. ‘Half’ padded wing in very fine thread, showing excellent detail. Very ‘stylised’ ‘R’ in the RAF akin to an earlier era of British flight history. Removed from a tunic. Reverse with heavy calico cotton backing. Very nice overall condition.

    An early WW2 RAF Observer half brevet. Very clean condition, showing evidence of being removed from a tunic. Flat/in-padded as is the ‘norm’ with light weight paper backing. Would be difficult to better for condition.

  • WW2 BRITISH AIR TRANSPORT AUXILIARY (ATA) SIDE CAP BADGE

    A superb, rare ATA side cap badge in bi-coloured bullion wire. Padded cap badge in gold and silver (the two ‘A’s are in silver) bullion wire on its black wool backing. Moth nip to the badge centre and a couple of edge areas (see image), other wise in very good damage free condition. As with all ATA related items....a rare item ! Formerly worn by 1st Officer K.W.D. Jones

  • BRITISH EARLY PATTERN RAF PILOT BREVET

    A fine example of an RAF pilot brevet in keeping with the construction of an RFC brevet. Narrow wing detail, showing high quality manufacture. Moth and damage free, clean brevet very probably of 1920's / early 30's vintage.

  • WW2 RAF / AM PADDED PILOT BREVET (on press-studs)

    A very nice example of an RAF pilot brevet with 'long' droop wings. Fine detail to the wing, wreath lettering and crown. Cloth backing is with two small areas of snagging at each wing tip (see images). Reverse with three press stud fittings, making the brevet detachable.

  • WW2 RAF / AM THEATRE MADE AIR GUNNER HALF BREVET

    A very typically, crudely made Air Gunner half brevet of the type manufactured in bazaars in the middle east. The detail is clear, and obviously hand made rather than machine embroidered. Some snagging to the wing detail were damaged by a safety harness.

    A very nice, attractive looking bullion wire, dress brevet, showing good clear bright detail. Silver bullion wire, with black thread wing detail, and multi-coloured thread detail to the crown. Fairly deep padding, making the brevets overall appearance, look very striking.

  • WW2 BRITISH SMALL EQUIPMENT / MESSAGE DROP PARACHUTE

    A used miniature 'low level' parachute as used by the RAF to drop messages and small equipment bundles. Excellent damage free condition, with some straining to the 'chute' body. Complete with all is suspension chords. No visible markings as is correct. A rare surviving piece of message / equipment drop equipment....obviously, intended for single use only.
