  • MI9 ESCAPE AND EVASION ‘SHAVING BRUSH’

An ingenious/innocent looking piece of personal field kit. Un-screw the base to reveal a concealed miniature compass. Excellent condition, being very late war dated and as such probably un-issued/un-used. Brush is I believe badger hair with the body made of brown Bakelite. Compass is in working condition. A whole range of items (to include concealed weapons) was produced by MI9 to aid escaping servicemen and also agents working behind

  • RAF/MI9 MINIATURE ESCAPE AND EVASION COMPASS

Intended for concealment within other ‘every-day’ items. This small compass was used/concealed with fountain pens, the bowl of a pipe and if I’m not mistaken the lighter produced by MI9. Compass is in excellent damage free, working condition. A minor ‘work of art’, and now a rare item!

  • WW2 RAF/AM TYPE 20/21 MICROPHONE

A very good condition Type 20/21 microphone, with much original black paint finish, and all front detail in white hi-light. Switch in good working order. Interior with a now age hardened and shrivelled rubber ‘dounut’ (see images). The Type 21 replaced the Type 19 in October 1940, so an early microphone just post Battle of Britain.

  • WW2 BRITISH ROYAL NAVY AVIATION PERSONAL FIRST AID PACK

A very good, un-opened personal First Aid kit as carried by Royal Navy aviators. Smaller in size and content than the RAF/AM equivalent, but effectively serving the same purpose, and primarily used in conjunction with burn injuries. The canvas cover is a little grubby but is undamaged. My experience of these pouches is that the medicines contained are degenerated/evaporated. That said this is a display item only and
