A mid war produced cross in zinc with a bronze finish. Finish in very good condition, with a couple of areas of staining. Plain none maker ribbon ring. Complete with a full length of original ribbon.
A superb early produced cross in bronze. Damage and stain free condition. Plain ribbon ring with no maker. Complete on a full length of clear original ribbon.
A good used wound badge II grade in silver. Solid badge, with wear to obverse high points of the badge. Reverse with heavy needle pin fitting, hinge and retainer catch. Bending to the pin and retainer. Maker mark to the reverse ‘30’. Badge is with tarnishing.
A good used/worn wound badge III grade in black. 50% of original finish lost to the obverse, the reverse retains 100% of its black finish. Thick needle pin fitting, and hook (the retainer hook is bunt flat see images). Small area of rusting to the badge obverse at ‘7 o’clock’. No maker details.
A fine mid war produced tank assault badge in bronze. Bronze finish is with some age fading, the badge otherwise being in excellent damage free condition with no corrosion or blemishes. Reverse with thick needle pin and hook fitting. No maker details. Becoming a harder badge to now find.
A good untouched Kriegsmarine Minesweeper award badge, A lower quality mid-war produced badge, with much of the gilt wash to the wreath and reverse faded with age. Otherwise an excellent example, in damage free condition. Reverse with thick needle pin fitting and catch in good strong condition. No maker details.
Possibly the rarest form of women’s RAD neck brooch badges being considered an award for special service within the RAD. The ‘legend’ to the rim reads ‘Work for your people-work for ourselves-German women’s Labour Service’. Obverse in excellent condition with wear to badge high points. A superb untouched War Merit Cross 1st Class in its case of issue. Domed lid box, is with the full profile of the award stencilled to the lid. Black ‘grained’ finish box, with wear to the corners and some slight scuffing to the lid (see images). Opening button in good working order. The award is in matching condition, with some slight wear and tarnishing to the finish.
A rare example of the DRL sports badge for war wounded. It differed from other examples having a gilt wreath with silvered lettering to the centre of the badge. Outstanding condition with much of its silver and gilt finish remaining. Reverse with heavy fitting pin and clear maker details ‘Weinstein - Jena’. Approximately only 10.000 badges were awarded, making this by far the rarest badge in this sports
