98% bronze finish remaining. Reverse with two flat blade fittings.
Reverse with ‘Firmin London’ maker plate attached to the reverse of the crown.

Single blade slider to reverse.
Worn throughout the First World war by this battalion.
A superb 1916 home front munitions / war worker badge in its original manufacturers wrapping with matching issue numbers.

A rare badge appertaining the Kitchener’s New Army Recruits, being a badge for the ‘New Bristol Battalion’ The Gloucestershire Regt.
This badge would have been issued to a new volunteer for a new ‘Bristol Battalion’ serving within the Gloucestershire Regt.
Some slight rusting under the celluloid face, but otherwise in excellent condition.
