  • WW2 FREE FRENCH De GAULLE 1940 ‘SECOND’ SPEECH

    A hand bill size 'flyer', which was air dropped into France recounting the Free French leaders speech for 'France to rise up in resistance....France will again be free'. Double sided in English and French, on low grade paper. Pretty good condition with one small edge tear to bottom edge (see images). (This hand bill was printed with several slight variations, to its finished appearance).

    A superb example in terms of condition and manufacture of this SS security / intelligence service (Sicherheitsdienst) officer rank shoulder board. Rank of Obersturmfuhrer, this is the classic war time example of this SD rank board with silver cording, with green underlay mounted on black wool, with a single gold pip. Superb / quality manufacture. Moth and damage free condition, with slight wear to the silver cording.
