  • WW1 BRITISH .455 AMMUNITION LEATHER CARTRIDGE POUCH

    A belt cartridge pouch intended to carry .455 pistol rounds and worn with both leather and webbing field equipment. As with most leather products of this vintage its extremely well made, and highly serviceable. Front flap is with six loops, for six ‘ready to hand’ cartridges. All fittings present, with the leather having some slight surface scuffing only. Reverse with two loop belt fitting, and maker mark ‘H.G.R.’ And

    A superb example of a Red Cross field service personnel cap badge in gilt & enamel. Enamel is in excellent damage free condition with slight surface marking. Gilt finish 98% intact.     A rare, Free Polish forces, serving with the British Army ‘Tommy’ helmet. Helmet is dent and damage free with its textured paint finish in dark khaki/green.     A very nice ‘life’ cartoon of General Montgomery, by ‘Reynolds’ signed by the General to the top left corner.
