    A superb example of a WW2 WAAF (Women’s Auxiliary Air Force) officer service dress cap. Cap is moth and damage free, as well a crisp in colour with no age fading.   • ‘DOWNED’ ZEPPELIN L48 AIR FRAME SOUVENIR WALKING CANE

    A superb walking cane, the handle/head of which is made from crashed air-frame/wreckage of the L48 Zeppelin. Turned duralumin handle with the pommel top engraved with the wording ‘L 48 Brought down at Theberton 1917’ Handle is grubby and with some ‘imperfections’.     A super, and in some ways an iconic piece of ‘Trench art’ in the form of a service dress cap, made from a British 1915 dated 18 pound artillery shell case. Excellent, loved, polished condition.     A magnificent example of an Allgemeine SS enlisted mans peaked service cap, post 1936 being circa 1937/38.   • WW1 BRITISH ‘IMPERIAL SERVICE’ BREAST BADGE (In Bronze)

    A good example of the Imperial Service breast badge. Excellent damage free condition, with good strong sturdy reverse fitting pin as is common, manufactured in ‘Bronze’ as an economy measure, rather than the early examples in nickel silver. (I have described this as an economy version in bronze, as this is the accepted reasoning. However little is ‘actually’ know as to why a bronze version).

    An ingenious/innocent looking piece of personal field kit. Un-screw the base to reveal a concealed miniature compass.
