• WW1 BRITISH 37th DIVISION FORMATION SIGN

    A super used, grubby 37th Division formation sign. Yellow felt horse shoe shaped sign mounted on a square of heavy khaki wool uniform material. Used condition with slight traces of moth due to adverse storage. A good looking sign with much charachter. Sold with an envelope flap with some information as to the wearer. The information would have meant something to the family, but sadly is not really comprehensive

  • THIRD REICH GERMAN EARLY SS MULTI-PIECE WOOL ARMBAND

    A stunning condition, removed from a tunic, SS multi-piece, wool armband. Exceptionally clean condition with only one minute moth nip, it being barely visible (see images). Black tape swastika mounted on a white ‘ribbed material’ backing as is correct for the vintage. Stitched closed and with the evidence of the stitch tacking where it was originally fitted to a tunic. No make label or evidence of one ever

  • RHODESIAN ARMY SPECIAL FORCES ‘SELOUS SCOUTS’ OFFICER COLAR BADGE

    A very good condition officer ‘Selous Scouts’ collar badge in silver. Their distinctive angular badge showing good detail. Reverse with two loop fitting. Clearly marked ‘Silver’ to the right wing as viewed, with a less distinct maker mark to the left wing.

    A ‘set-up’ found worn by officers and raiding parties. The ‘08 webbing consists of the shoulder braces, belt, bayonet frog and 1914 leather interchangeable (trapezoid side) small pack. Leather work consists of the .455 open top holster, complete with cleaning rod and the ‘D’ shape cartridge pouch, both with 2” brass loop belt fittings.   • “THEIRS IS THE GLORY” FILM PREMIER COMMEMORATIVE TICKET

    I thought this an apt item to list on the anniversary of the start of the operation. Aluminium, commemorative film ticket for the showing of the film ‘Theirs is the Glory’, the 1946 film depiction of the British (1st Airborne Division) involvement in ‘Operation Market Garden’. Excellent damage free condition, made from the crashed airframes of gliders used in the operation. Now a hard item to find.
