A very good example of the Adams & Co No. 9 Mk. II wooden ‘box’ periscope, complete with much of its paper issue label.
A very cheap to produce periscope made from ply wood, two mirrors, a few screws and hinges and thats it.
Mirror flaps and the open and shut metal slider in good working order. The metal slider contains much of the original paper issue label, with however much rust staining (see images).
Good clear black painted WD broad arrow.
A couple of screws appear (period) replaced. I have replaced one of the mirrors as it was missing completely when bought into-stock.
Nice piece of field/trench equipment.
