A fine matching cap and collar badge grouping for a driver with the National Motor Volunteers.
Superb chocolate bronze finish to all three items.
Reverse maker details JR Gaunt London to the collar badges and Gaunt London to the cap badge with an item serial number.
Cap badge with two blade reverse fitting, and collars with two loop fitting with split pins.
A rare grouping.

The National Motor Volunteers were an band of, in the main drives volunteered from large houses, being the house chauffeur.
They were used in the main as army & navy staff drivers.
The war office in many cases not only gained a driver but the ‘house’ car as well for the duration of hostilities.
The NMV was a non military organisation, loosely associated with the VTC of the period.
