A group of five photographs of Berchtesgaden (the Eagles Nest) taken by a tourist in the winter of 1949.
Some are with reverse ink details. All are in excellent damage free condition.
With a further photograph of the 'West Wall' defences, taken in 1947, by the same tourist.
Of some minor historic value, detailing the immediate area, just post WW2, and showing that just as with WW1, tourism of WW2 battle areas / fields started virtually immediately after the wars end.
