A very nice condition, M.16 field grey combat helmet.
Helmet is in excellent dent and damage free condition, with the interior and exterior in matching condition.
Exterior has 75% - 80% original field grey finish remaining with traces of autumn red camouflage to the helmet 'neck guard' in two places (see images).
Interior is in similar condition with the leather head band in excellent damage free, 'strong' condition. All three head cushions are present and again in damage free condition with their original padding.
I can find no size details, or dome marking, their is however a shell maker mark to the inner front - left (as worn) shell underside....It appears E.T. and two extra characters that are in distinct, the whole thing being not easy to read even under an eye glass.
Chin strap is absent as is common.
A very nice helmet, now difficult it seems to find in this fine, interior and exterior condition.
