A superb looking & condition helmet, most typical of the WW2 'Tommy' helmet with netting camouflaged cover.
Helmet is dent and damage free and is fitted with its original netting cover adorned with camouflaged sacking material.
Liner is in matching, good damage free condition with the liner fitted with the correct period oval cushion pad. Chin strap present and in good condition.
The netting cover is damage free and looks 'great' (if I may) with the applied sacking material.
helmet she'll is maker marked A.V. And is dated 1939 in the usual place. Helmet liner is maker marked 'Helmets' and dated 1939.
A super early war period, untouched helmet, commensurate with the early campaigns of this period.
