WW1 BRITISH V.A.D. DISTRICT LAPEL BADGE
A hallmarked silver V.A.D. (Voluntary Aid detachment) members district lapel badge ‘V.A.D. 6’.
The silver badge is with green and red translucent enamel to the obverse.
Reverse with maker details and hallmark, with the top of the reverse detailed in ‘high relief ‘Chadwick 1915 - 1919.
Brooch pin fitting in good working order.
Grubby mark to the reverse near the hallmark.
