The few space exploration / flight items listed here may well not appeal to those interested in militaria.
My own interest is born out of the WW2 German rocket programme that ultimately lead to Soviet and American space technology.
Listed items will only account for a very, very small percentage of listings due to, as I predict, limited interest, coupled with the difficulty in finding such items in the UK. All listed items here, have been sourced in the U.S.A.
These older items covering the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Vostok programmes are becoming quite rare; they rarely appear even on the world wide collectors on line auction that we all know and ‘love’.
I hope if nothing else viewers will find the items interesting, and will forgive my own indulgence in this interesting period of manned flight.

An 80mm (large) button lapel badge commemorating the flying around the moon by Apollo 8 in December 1968.
In my opinion the Apollo 8 flight given the problems that the Apollo programme had suffered prior to its launch and the bringing home of the damaged Apollo 13 were ‘N.A.S.A.’s ‘finest hour’….Interestingly both flights were captained by Flight Commander James Lovell.
Excellent damage free condition with slight age ‘yellowing’.

This is a SOLD Item.
