WW1 BRITISH WAR WOUNDED ‘HOSPITAL WORK’ BELT
A superb hand made belt from leather with hand thread work detail.
Thread work depicts the victorious nations flags and names the hospitals that the maker was ‘housed’ in.
The hospital named in thread work is 'The Balmoral Red Cross', situated in Llandudno (Wales).
It has an artillery connection, R.H.A & R.F.A, the workmanship probably carried out by a serving member of these corps.
Now a little grubby with age, but damage free.
A really nicely done piece of work.
