A good used condition, named, Volunteer Training Corps (V.T.C.) II pattern armband.
Some moth damage to the khaki field. Both original securing buttons present.
Army council stamping to the interior with a wearer name in indelible purple pencil.
Now becoming a hard band to find.

The WW1 VTC can best be likened to the second world war Home Guard.
Its members consisted of under and over age boys and men working basically on the home front.
Basic military training for the under aged prior to military enlistment was given under this scheme.
