BRITISH 1937 PATTERN BD TOP 49TH (WEST RIDING) DIV
A good used 1937 battledress top to an artillery man in the 49th Division.
Top shows light use, and is damage and moth free.
Matched facing, 2nd pattern printed formation signs to left and right sleeves, with branch of service artillery felts below.
Interior with 1940 pattern label, with wearer name and number just adjacent to the label.
Correct top as used during war service without Corps shoulder titles.
49th Div formed part of the 21st Army Group which landed during the Normandy invasion and advanced through north western Europe, until the wars end.
An excellent attributable top.
