A group of photographs and an interesting diary appertaining to a WW1 cavalry officer detailing his 1918 war service / experiences.
Lt. Conyers of the 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons:- this grouping consists of a framed head and shoulders portrait. A post card size image of the officer his wife and son. A cartoon pencil drawn caricature, and a series of post war photographs showing the officer and places he has revisited on the western front.
The diary is for the year 1918. It has many mundane entries, but there are periods of extended activity which is detailed in brief (in pencil).
A nice grouping giving an in-sight into what can best be described as a ‘well to do’ officers war.
