A truly stunning example of the Third Reich pre WW2 1937 pattern Eagle order II Class without swords in its case of issue.
Pin back award in excellent damage free condition in white enamel and 900 continental gilt silver.
Enamel damage free and gilt work 98% present throughout. Heavy reverse fitting pin with 900 silver mark.
Case in matching damage free condition, with gilt eagle to lid exterior and order details to the interior lid of the case.
(This series of decorations, was, in 1939 re-instituted with a greater span of awards included within its range. The 1939 pin back equivalent was in fact now the IV Class with the case interior stating as such the award grade).
