WW2 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE UNIFORM GROUPING
A WW2 vintage RCAF four pocket service dress tunic, trousers, cap and side cap uniform grouping to an un-named Squadron Leader.
Excellent service used uniform grouping, with commensurate wear. Tunic with padded RCAF pilots brevet, cloth Canada shoulder titles and no medal ribbons. Rank 'rings' show a promotion with one ring being more faded than the other. No maker or owner details to the inside of the tunic. Matching trousers, showing wear to there extremities and lining etc. The peaked cap shows much heavy wear and use and as such is much grubbier than the rest of the uniform; with however very good maker details ‘Muir Cap & Regalia Limited Manufacturers Simcoe St. Toronto-2 Canada’ to the cap inner crown. Typical Canadian made cap badge. Side cap in excellent condition, with faded owner name and maker details. Uniform size is in keeping with the general sizes of the day...ie not large !! Excellent used untouched uniform grouping which is both damage and moth free. Interestingly all the tunic buttons are of the same size (i.e. large) rather than small buttons on the pocket flaps.
